Prospective students will apply to one of the following five workshops
offered:

   - Bangla, led by Arunava Sinha
   - Hindi-Urdu, led by Daisy Rockwell (open to translators of Hindi or
   Urdu)
   - Tamil, led by TBA
   - Multilingual poetry, led by Ranjit Hoskote
   - Multilingual prose, led by Tejaswini Niranjana

Students in the Bangla, Hindi-Urdu, and Tamil groups will work on
translating a text by a writer who will participate in the workshop. The
multilingual prose and poetry groups are open to those working from any
South Asian language(s), with each participant supplying a short text for
discussion. A number of slots in the multi-language groups will be
ringfenced for translators from Sinhala.

The registration fee for successful SummerSALT applicants is USD $800,
which includes accommodation and meals as well as programming.

To remove barriers to access, SALT will offer financial aid and bursary
support that includes a number of reduced-fee registrations, and some
travel bursaries.
