[INDOLOGY] a statement about respectable women

Hello,
Apologies if it's already been mentioned--the Draupadi-Satyabhama 
samvada in the aranyakaparvan of the Mahabharata (III.222-224) captures 
in some detail the expectations of an ideal wife (first to rise, last to 
sleep, last to eat, doesn't stand about gossiping...).
