No risk of infection in Vālmīki’s hermitage:

बालौ विषाण्वसंक्रान्तैः क्रीडित्वर्क्षगजादिभिः ।
विश्वस्तस्य गुरोः पादावस्प्राष्टां तौ कुशीलवौ ॥

After playing with boars, elephants and other animals not infected by 
the virus,
the boys Kuśa and Lava touched the feet of their confident teacher.
