An important new research tool for the study of
the Avesta has just appeared:
The Avesta: A Lexico-Statistical Analysis,
of Raymond Doctor (Acta Iranica vol. 41. Peeters
Publishers, Leuven, 105 �uro).
It contains a direct index, reverse index, hapax
legomenon and frequency counts of words in the
Avesta.
